Clarke Nicklin Financial Planning are delighted to announce Christian Evans’ promotion from Advisor Support Manager to Independent Financial Advisor. This comes as the second promotion in the last two months for the firm, after recently announcing the promotion of their now paraplanner, Stephen Mackenzie, last month.

Having worked in the Financial Services sector for 20 years, Chris has held both technical support and regulated advice positions within some of the UK’s leading financial institutions. Chris joined Clarke Nicklin Financial Planning over ten years ago, had previously been promoted to Advisor Support Manager four years ago, and will now be taking up his new role of Independent Financial Advisor.

Chris’ previous role and responsibilities included managing the day-to-day functions of the support team to ensure that Clarke Nicklin’s high service standards and processes are met and maintained, and assisting in assessing investment portfolios and investment strategies for clients, as well as working closely with various product providers, fund managers and other third parties. He also supported on overseeing regulatory requirements. His duties will now change from a predominately back office technical role to a client facing advisory function, which will have the additional responsibility of being the clients relationship head, and communicating with the client on the financial advice he will be providing.

When asked about his promotion, Chris commented: “I am extremely proud to be given such an exciting opportunity to progress my career with Clarke Nicklin Financial Planning. After a decade of working at CNFP, I have seen first-hand how the provision of quality financial advice and excellent service can achieve positive outcomes whilst building strong and trusted long term relationships. I am looking forward to developing into my new role whilst contributing to the continued success of Clarke Nicklin Financial Planning into the future”.

Partner and Independent Financial Advisor, Scott Herbert, added: “I am delighted to see Chris advance into the role of an Independent Financial Advisor. He has developed his experience supporting our Advisors and is now both qualified and well equipped to step into the role himself. I am confident that Chris under my stewardship will progress into a highly professional and trusted Advisor”.

Managing Partner of Clarke Nicklin, Andrew Baggott, adds: “I am pleased to see our team members developing and progressing to further enhance our focus on delivering excellence in client advice and support. Through Chris and the rest of the team’s continued development it shows we are focused on ensuring our values on client service are achieved and enhanced for all of our clients throughout the whole of our relationship with them.”
